The protests that broke out in Los Angeles, California, have spread to New York and other places. On June 9, local time, about 30 protesters broke into the Trump Tower, holding photos of detained immigrants and demonstrating, demanding “release the detained immigrants back.”
After the building staff called the police, the police arrived at the scene and confronted the protesters sitting on the ground for about 20 minutes. During this period, the building sounded a broadcast ordering the protesters to leave, warning that “if you refuse to leave, you may be arrested, and if you use violence, you may be prosecuted.”
In the end, the police arrested at least 20 people, tied their hands behind their backs and took them into the police car. There was no conflict between the two sides during the period.
Earlier, US President Trump posted on social media that these people were not protesters, but troublemakers and insurgents.
