EU provides Ukraine with another 1 billion euros in loans

On March 20, local time, the European Commission issued a special macro-financial aid loan of 1 billion euros to Ukraine, which will be repaid with the proceeds of Russia’s frozen state assets in the EU.

With this amount, the total amount of loans provided by the European Commission to Ukraine under the aid agreement has reached 4 billion euros since the beginning of this year. The European Commission is discussing the schedule for subsequent payments with Ukraine.
