Gaza Health Department: This round of Israeli-Palestinian conflict has caused 56,156 deaths in the Gaza Strip

On June 24, local time, the health department of the Gaza Strip issued a statement saying that the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours have resulted in the deaths of 79 Palestinians and 391 injuries. The statement said that since the outbreak of a new round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in 56,156 deaths and 132,239 injuries. The death toll since March 18, 2025 has reached 5,833 and the number of injured is 20,198.
