At approximately 4:40 a.m. local time on August 21, two Russian cruise missiles struck a Flextronics plant in Mukachevo, Ukraine. The attack triggered a massive fire and injured at least 15 people.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reportedly posted on social media: “This is an ordinary civilian enterprise, established with American investment, that produces coffee machines and other everyday products.”
Zelensky also stated: “Russia launched this attack as if nothing has changed, as if the world has not made any effort to stop this war.” He cited the attack as an example, saying that “more pressure is needed to force Russia to engage in ‘substantive negotiations.'”
The report cited local authorities as saying that the Flextronics plant in Mukachevo began production in 2012 and employs thousands of people.
