On the afternoon of March 1, local time, the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued Announcement No. 7. The announcement stated that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln was attacked by four Iranian ballistic missiles.
The announcement further stated that the Iranian armed forces’ powerful strikes against enemy military forces have entered a new phase, and that both land and sea will increasingly become “graveyards for aggressors.”
