Thai cabinet approves cancellation of 60-day visa-free entry policy for citizens of over 90 countries, reverting to previous entry standards.
Tourism and Sports Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn said on May 19 that the cabinet meeting has decided to restore the original visa-free policy for over 90 countries, typically allowing visa-free entry for around 30 days.
The Visa Policy Committee will subsequently conduct individual reviews of each country and consider security and economic factors to formulate new visa-free policies.
