May 20th, Chance AI, a startup behind Visual Agent, announced the completion of a multi-million dollar funding round. This round was led by Meitu, with NYX Ventures and Alibaba-affiliated investment institutions participating. The funding will be used to iterate on the model’s capabilities, expand its user base among North American students, and explore community and commercialization opportunities.
Chance AI was founded in 2025, with its core product being Visual Agent, the world’s first AI product that primarily uses a camera as its entry point. When users open Chance AI and take a photo of what’s in front of them, the system can understand their visual intent and provide judgments, suggestions, and action plans.
