OpenAI Partners with Asian Cloud Provider Datasection to Deploy Its Latest Models

On May 29, OpenAI’s Asia-Pacific strategy team announced that it would roll out its newest models and bring them to commercial use through the Asian cloud service provider Datasection. Word has it that this marks the first time OpenAI has publicly placed its model inference and computing power infrastructure on a third-party cloud platform, after ending its exclusive partnership with Microsoft.
