UK, France, Germany, and Italy Announce Lifting of Sanctions on Iran Following US-Iran Agreement

According to a Reuters report on June 14, the UK, France, Germany, and Italy issued a joint statement saying that after the US and Iran reach an agreement to end their conflict, if Iran takes corresponding measures regarding its nuclear program, these four countries are prepared to lift sanctions on Iran.

The joint statement read: “Iran must never possess nuclear weapons. We are willing to work together with the US, Iran, and the International Atomic Energy Agency to achieve this goal.”
