According to a report from The Guardian on July 26, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be the first foreign leader to meet with the newly appointed UK Prime Minister Burnham. Burnham stated that this meeting underscores the UK’s unwavering support for Ukraine.

Reports indicate that Zelenskyy is scheduled to visit the UK on July 27, during which he and Burnham will jointly visit a British naval base where Ukrainian soldiers have been undergoing training for an extended period.
According to reports, Burnham assumed office as the UK Prime Minister on July 20, making Zelenskyy the first prominent foreign leader to meet with him since his inauguration. Former UK Prime Minister Starmer also visited Ukraine just before stepping down, arriving in Kyiv on July 16 for talks with Zelenskyy.
