Heavy rains in Afghanistan trigger floods, killing at least 80 people

According to the news released by the Natural Disaster Management Bureau of the Afghan Interim Government on the 12th local time, floods caused by heavy rains in the past month have caused at least 80 deaths and more than 100 injuries across the country.

In addition, heavy rains and floods have destroyed more than 1,800 houses and 18,000 acres of farmland.
