On August 20, Habitat officially announced the successful closure of its Series A funding round, securing a total of RMB 700 million. This marks the company’s second major fundraising milestone, following an impressive RMB 653 million initial round in 2024, and stands as the largest primary market financing in China’s home furnishing industry over the past three years. The round was led by the Changzhou Xinbei District Science and Technology Innovation Fund, with the proceeds strategically earmarked for the construction of a global headquarters and R&D center for intelligent homes in Changzhou, alongside the development of an embodied intelligence lab and a production-grade AI design and delivery system. These investments are set to accelerate the deep development of AI-native smart residences and drive the company’s ecosystem-based growth strategy forward.
Previously, in March 2025, Habitat unveiled its first smart residential product equipped with a home-based intelligent agent, the L32 model. The company has since established a robust direct-sales network spanning seven major cities—Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Wuhan—with annual contracted sales surpassing RMB 1 billion. This latest funding round is poised to further solidify Habitat’s market leadership and fuel its vision of transforming modern living through cutting-edge technology.
