That same day, the US Central Command announced on social media that at 7 PM Eastern Time on July 19, US forces launched another round of airstrikes against Iran. This marked the ninth consecutive night of US attacks on Iran, aimed at “continuing to degrade Iran’s military capabilities used to attack commercial ships and civilian crews passing through the Strait of Hormuz.”
