According to incomplete statistics from a reliable source, more than 200 cars equipped with lidar technology were showcased, including models from top brands like BYD, Geely, Volkswagen, and Nissan.

Suteng Innovation had an impressive 42.3% of its models equipped with lidar, with over 80 models covered, including those from Geely, Xpeng, Zhiyi, Volkswagen, and Toyota. This puts them at the top of the list. Huasai Technology and Huawei followed, with 27.9% and 19.9% of their models equipped with lidar, respectively.
GGAI, a leading research institute, reported that in 2025, the penetration rate of lidar technology in China’s passenger car market had already broken through 11.15%.
