In early to mid-September, China and Nepal will hold the “Mount Everest Friendship 2025” joint army training in Nepal. Focused on joint counter-terrorism operations, the joint training will feature mixed formations and mutual learning. The training will include comprehensive exercises in joint counter-terrorism operations, as well as training in disaster relief, rescue, and peacekeeping operations. This marks the fifth joint training series between the Chinese and Nepalese militaries, and will further enhance their joint counter-terrorism capabilities and deepen the traditional friendship and practical cooperation between the two militaries.
