On June 23, at the 2026 Volcano Engine Force Conference, Doubao’s latest flagship model, Doubao-Seed-2.1 Pro, was officially released. In multiple benchmark tests, it has shown performance approaching that of GPT-5.5, Claude Opus 4.7, and Gemini 3.1 Pro.
According to Volcano Engine President Tan Dai, this model has reached a “production-grade inflection point” across four dimensions: code delivery, long-range agent tasks, multimodal understanding, and enterprise-level stable operation. It offers stronger capabilities in understanding user needs, long-term planning, and engineering delivery.
