On May 27, Douyin Life Services shared the latest scoop on how they’re stepping up consumer rights and making the overall experience way better.
Over the past year, the rate of low-quality content violations dropped by a whopping 82% year over year, and fake store reports plunged by 90%.
When it comes to proactive rights protection, the platform has processed 3.9 million pre-payout orders, totaling 240 million yuan. Their “Anxin” service now covers 180 million consumers, with 650 million orders served.
To tackle the fresh challenges brought by AI-generated content (AIGC), the platform rolled out special governance rules. In Q1 this year alone, they dealt with over 800,000 AIGC-related violative sales videos — including cases of portrait rights infringement, false advertising, and vulgar marketing.
