On August 7, a freshly filed 13G with the U.S. SEC revealed that Fidelity, the global asset management heavyweight, has been aggressively accumulating shares in EHang (NASDAQ: EH), a frontrunner in China’s low-altitude economy sector.
As of June 30, Fidelity held approximately 4.49 million shares of EHang, a massive jump from the 1.68 million shares disclosed in its 13F filing at the end of Q1. This stake now represents 7.4% of the company’s outstanding shares, propelling Fidelity to the position of EHang’s largest external shareholder.
