Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters fired off a strong statement on the 10th, announcing a “heavy blow” against US military bases across the Middle East. On the same day, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also claimed responsibility for a drone attack on the US Fifth Fleet’s facilities in Bahrain.

In their statement, the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters said these strikes were payback for what they see as US “aggression” in southern Iran, using a helicopter crash as a flimsy excuse. Both the Iranian army and the Revolutionary Guard joined forces to hit US bases hard. They issued a clear warning: if the US dares to violate Iranian territory again, Tehran will unleash “even more powerful and widespread” attacks on pre-planned targets across the region.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ public relations office added more details, claiming that early that morning, the US launched attacks on multiple locations in Iran under “false pretenses.” This caused damage to a telecom tower in the Sirik area and destroyed two reservoirs. To answer what they called “the enemy’s evil acts,” the Guard Corps launched drone strikes on the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. Their message was blunt: if hostile actions don’t stop, “a harsher response is on its way.”
On the same day, the Revolutionary Guard also reported intercepting and destroying an MQ-9 Reaper drone over Bushehr province, and firing missiles at a US military base in Jordan.
