Massive protests break out in Serbia

On the 15th local time, a large-scale protest against the government broke out in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Protesters gathered near the Serbian National Assembly Building and other places, including supporters of the opposition.

Serbian President Vucic said on the same day that the Serbian government understood the message conveyed by the protesters, “We must change ourselves.” He also said that the protests have injured 56 people.

Vucic said on February 15 that the recent protests in Serbia were planned by external forces to launch a “color revolution”, but they have failed. Vucic also mentioned the importance of maintaining national sovereignty at the time. He criticized certain international organizations for attempting to manipulate Serbian youth for political purposes, with the aim of weakening Serbia, not just overthrowing him personally.
