South Korean military drone collides with helicopter

According to local time on March 17, at around 13:00 on the same day, a drone collided with a helicopter at a military airport in Yangzhou City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The accident did not cause any casualties.

20250317mcglaAccording to Yonhap News Agency, an Army Aviation Brigade in Gyeonggi Province received a report at around 13:00 on the same day that a drone collided with a helicopter parked at the Yangzhou Air Force Base in Gyeonggi Province when landing. The fire caused by the collision between the two aircraft was extinguished about 20 minutes later, and the helicopter and drone were burned.

Relevant departments are investigating the cause of the accident.
