STMicroelectronics hits customers with second MCU price hike this year

So here’s the latest buzz: STMicroelectronics, the big name in MCUs and power semiconductors, just sent out a price adjustment notice to its customers. Starting June 28, 2026, they’re jacking up prices on a bunch of products. This marks the second price increase this year – the first one came back on March 24. And guess what? They’re not the only ones. International power semiconductor heavyweights like Infineon and Texas Instruments have already rolled out their own price hikes. Over on the home front, Chinese MCU makers like Sino Microelectronics and Nations Technologies have also jumped on the bandwagon recently.
