Thai police destroyed a suspected explosive device on Patong Beach in Phuket on June 26. The suspicious object was found near a hotel in Phuket.
On the 23rd, Thai police arrested a suspicious man from Pattani Province, who later admitted that he and others had placed four bombs at Phuket Airport, near Patong Beach, and at Promthep Cape. After the incident, Thai police conducted a rigorous search in Phuket and have found most of the bombs and disposed of them.
