According to a Reuters report on July 16, Trump Media & Technology Group has just launched a paid data feed that offers the fastest possible access to posts from top accounts on its Truth Social platform—including Trump’s own account.
A company spokesperson said the product, called “Truth API,” will deliver posts from the platform’s 10 most influential accounts to clients much faster than regular push notifications on Truth Social.
The spokesperson added that the API is designed for algorithmic trading firms and other institutions “most affected by the cost of information delays.” They noted, “Companies that previously tried to track trending posts relied on manual monitoring. Truth API fills that gap.”
This move marks Trump Media & Technology Group’s first step into data licensing, opening up a fresh revenue stream. Trump has used his Truth Social account to make several market-shaking announcements—including his “Liberation Day” tariffs and posts about trade restrictions—making the platform a key source of information for traders, businesses, and financial institutions.
The company’s interim CEO said, “The market has already started paying attention to Truth Social posts… As our user base grows, we expect Truth API to become a significant and recurring source of revenue for the company.”
The company has not yet responded to requests for comment on whether this could lead to unequal trading opportunities.
