Trump responds to Musk’s apology: Very good

On June 11, local time, US President Trump responded to Musk’s apology, saying, “I think he did a very good job.”

In the early morning of the 11th, Eastern Time, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said on his social media platform “X” that he regretted some of the posts he made about US President Trump last week, saying that “the content was too much.”

Musk and Trump publicly clashed on social media last week over the Republican-led budget bill, and Trump said Musk “showed great disrespect for the presidency.” Previously, Musk posted on “X” criticizing the massive tax and spending bill pushed by the US government and attacking Trump, saying that without him, Trump would have lost the 2024 presidential election, and he accused Trump of “ungratefulness.” Musk even forwarded content related to Jeffrey Epstein’s old news, and then deleted it. Trump responded that the allegations about Epstein were “old things” and denied that he was associated with him.
