Get this: President Trump just made it crystal clear that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu won’t have much say in the matter when it comes to a potential U.S.-Iran deal. In fact, Trump dropped the news right in the middle of escalating tensions, shortly after Iran launched ballistic missiles toward Israel. The message? Whatever Washington negotiates with Tehran, Jerusalem will have to go along with it.

“He really doesn’t have a choice,” Trump laid out plainly. “This is my call. Everything on the table comes down to my decision. He’s not the one calling the shots here.”
Trump also brushed off the latest missile strikes, insisting they won’t derail Washington’s push for a diplomatic off-ramp with Tehran. “This isn’t going to throw a wrench in the negotiations at all,” he noted. “We’ll just have to wait and see how the cards fall.”
Back on the 7th, Israeli defense forces tracked incoming missiles from Iran, triggering air raid sirens across the northern regions. Not long after, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed they’d fired ballistic missiles at Israel’s Ramat David airbase, calling it a direct response to ongoing Israeli military actions in Lebanon.
Adding to the tension, Mohsen Rezaei, a top military advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, took to social media to drive the point home. He reminded everyone that Tehran has repeatedly warned it won’t stand for ceasefire breaks or aggression aimed at Lebanon. “Tonight,” he posted, “we’ve answered the aggressors.”
