From HA Viewpoint, July 23 – The U.S. Central Command took to social media on the evening of July 23 (6:45 PM Eastern Time, which is 6:45 AM Beijing time on July 24) to announce a new wave of military strikes against Iranian targets. This marks the 13th straight night of U.S. operations against Iran.
The statement said these strikes are “meant to hold Iran accountable and reduce the threat posed by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to commercial shipping.”
Earlier that same day, the U.S. Central Command posted on social media that since resuming the naval blockade against Iran nine days ago, U.S. forces have forced 12 commercial ships to change course and disabled one vessel, all in an effort to stop these ships from entering or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas.
