According to reports from the Baltimore City Fire Department in Maryland, a US Navy supply ship caught fire on the 13th, local time. The department posted about the incident on social media, saying the fire started on a vessel docked near the 2000 block of South Clinton Street.

The fire department’s post mentioned that two lifeboats on the ship were completely engulfed in flames. Reports from local media noted that thick smoke could be seen from several miles away, sparking concern among nearby residents.
So far, no injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. The Baltimore City Fire Department confirmed that crews are on the scene working to contain the blaze.
