So here’s the scoop from May 27th – WeChat just dropped the latest numbers on its Mini Games platform. Right now, WeChat Mini Games are rocking over 500 million monthly active users, and folks are spending an average of more than 60 minutes per day in these games. Users are getting social too – they’re sparking over 100 million social interactions, and more than half of all active players actually go out of their way to visit Mini Games. On the developer front, the community has grown to over 500,000 creators, and get this – over 80% of them are small teams with fewer than 30 people. Looking back at the past year, we’ve seen more than 80 Mini Games hit at least 1 million daily active users, and over 300 games have raked in more than 10 million in quarterly revenue.
