On August 4, Tencent Cloud announced that the “Security Center” is now officially available in WorkBuddy 5.0 and later versions. In this update, core protective controls are enabled by default, including real-time interception of unauthorized operations, automatic routing of deleted files to the recycle bin, and version restoration for modified files.
According to the announcement, all newly introduced security features are consolidated under the Settings → Security Center entry. To access them, users simply open the WorkBuddy client, click the avatar in the bottom-left corner to enter the “Settings” page, and then tap “Security Center”—there, all security functions are visible and active right out of the box.
