On March 1, local time, US President Trump posted on social media that the US had destroyed and sunk nine Iranian naval vessels, some of which were “large and important,” and stated that he would continue to strike the remaining ships. He also claimed that in another attack, the US had “essentially destroyed” the Iranian naval headquarters.
